This study conducted in England highlights that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a detrimental impact on young people's career prospects.

Not having work experience is the biggest barrier to getting the career they want, and young people feel ill-prepared to pursue their careers.

The study recommends increasing work experience opportunities to improve young people's current and future employment prospects, especially in remote areas.
