Exploring the Work-Health Connection: Hearing from Those with Work-Related Ill Health

Our recent project with the Health Foundation brings us to Coventry, Northumberland, and Newport to explore the link between work and health.

CVR is excited to be down in Coventry, Northumberland and Newport for the next few weeks as we host focus groups for our work with the Health Foundation exploring the intricate interplay between people's work and their health.

We’ll be meeting and hearing the perspectives of those who have experienced periods of unemployment or with experience of work-related ill health and disabilities to contribute to a better understanding of how to enhance working-age health and employment.

Why Does This Matter?

This has big implications for society, going beyond just looking at numbers and hearing human stories to really learn how work affects people's everyday lives. If you or anyone you know might want to be involved or sign up using the link in the comments.

Participants will be paid £75 for taking part in an in-person session.
